Jim Ball has been a writer, photographer and musician since his early teen years. He got into filmmaking in 1987. In addition to being a full-time filmmaker, he also owned his own recording studio. In 1992, he was led to the Lord by a Pentecostal Gospel singer, and two years later he sold the studio to go to seminary. He is in full-time ministry and founded Holy Apostles Church. Jim continued to make films for churches and Christian schools. In 2007, he co-wrote and directed The Sins of the Fathers. His film was awarded Best Mystery Feature in 2009 New York International Independent Film Festival and won the 2013 Red Carpet Award at the Kingdomwood Film festival.
